Fresh White Truffle 100g
Description: White Truffle (Tuber Magnatum Pico) is the most renowned and most loved truffle among all varieties of truffles. It is also considered the most valuable type. It has the following visible characteristics: it has a smooth peel with colors that vary from yellow / white to dark yellow with beige shades. Inside it presents a variety of colors from from white to rosé or light brown.
Harvesting: In Umbria region the harvesting period of the Fresh White Truffle 100g goes from October 1st till December 31.
Packaging and Shipping: We ship the fresh truffle in a cooled polystyrene box in order to guarantee the best storage of the product during shipment.

Storage: Wrap the truffles one by one in the kitchen paper and put them in a plastic or glass container. Store them in the lowest part of the fridge at 0°-4°C for a maximum of 5 days.
Use: The fresh truffles can be prepared in different ways. Truffles can be grated to obtain a sauce, or sliced on the dishes.
Notes: The fresh truffles are sold washed, nevertheless, we advice to wash and/or brush them before use. It is of no concern to find slightly white spots on the surface of the fresh truffle, wash to remove.
